I've suspended my studies at University

In September 2015 I started my Business Management & Human Resource Management degree in Swansea University, a couple of months later I decided that that particular course was not one I wanted to continue with and then started the breakdown of my life, 'What am I going to do?

How am I going to tell my parents? What do I want to do in life?' and a million other questions put me on edge. I eventually confided in my mum that I wanted to suspend my studies and less than a week before my exams I told the university I wanted to suspend my studies for a year. I then seeked help from friends and family on what to do next...
I knew I needed to do a degree in something, but I literally had no idea. I'm not especially academic, I enjoy work more than learning and I can't sit and learn something I'm not interested in. I've known for awhile I wanted to do something in hospitality which is when my mum said 'Wouldn't it be great if there was a degree that covered hospitality and hotel management?' and being the curious individual I am I googled it and taaaa-daahhh, I found a degree in international hotel management! On the 10th of February I'll be heading to the University of Wales Trinity St Davids in Swansea for an interview for my course.
There's something scary about making your own decisions about what to do with your life but hopefully now I'm on the road to success!
